Since 1993, we’ve been proud to stand with cross dressers, transfeminine, and gender-fluid people around the world. You don’t need anyone’s approval to be yourself — we’re just here to make room for your truth. Through every photo and story you share, one message is clear: you’ve never been alone.
Meet Amy Myers
What’s your name? What are your pronouns?
My name is Amy (Myers) and my pronouns are “She” “Her”.
Where are you located?
I live in Ontario, Canada.
What’s your favorite thing about expressing your feminine side?
This is a tougher question answer, but I love looking pretty and have got to feel that this is a real me. Which seems weird as so is my male side, as I’m not full time, but being femme feels more and more like the real me. Other than that I think it’s the beautiful clothes I get to wear.
How would you describe your style?
I love to look classy and as well as sexy, and I do have a slightly sluttier side, but mostly I want to keep things classy.
Where are your favorite places to shop?
I have quite a few, various online stores but most of my clothes are from Ricki’s, Reitman’s, Le Chateau, lingerie from La Vie En Rose and What Katie Did in the UK.
What piece of advice would you share to someone starting dressing?
Again, this is a toughie as we are all on different journeys and in different personal situations. Basically to start buying things slowly, thrift stores are a great place so you don’t waste as much money, till you find a style and what works for you and more importantly what doesn’t. Join an online CD forum, and if you can find a local social and support group in your area so you can go out and meet others. That is what I did and it helped me develop immensely, now I’m somehow I’ve become the President of the group!
