Why are outlet items so cheap?
Outlet items are offered at lower prices because they are typically discontinued styles, overstock, limited-edition runs, or next-to-perfect (factory seconds) products with minor cosmetic variations.
In the case of next-to-perfect items, any imperfections are usually very small — such as slight texture differences, tiny marks, or subtle variations in firmness — and do not affect the comfort, wearability, or overall performance of the product.
Because these items are either being cleared to make room for new stock or cannot be sold at full price due to minor variations, they are offered at a significant discount while still maintaining the same core quality and function.
