Divine Collection Athena Natural Feeling Breastplate — NEXT-TO-PERFECT

Take your Athena breastplate to the next level by adding customization! Basic customization will feature subtle skin tone variations that will take your breastplate from flat in texture to realistic. You can also choose from light or heavy freckles and light or heavy veins to help make your Divine Collection Athena breastplate truly match to your natural skin texture.

This is an upgrade to Athena breastplates and can only be purchased at the SAME TIME as Athena breastplates. 

Customization is an additional service offered by the artists, and is unique to every pair of breast forms. As the artists will need to craft a pair just for you, please allow for extra time for your Athena breastplate to be crafted.

Although the artists can try their best to accommodate specific requests, they will use their best judgement to create the most natural appearance based on your customization selections, and may not be exactly as shown in demonstration photos. We appreciate your understanding in this.

Prepare your skin

1. If you have worn the prosthetics before, clean as best as you can.
2. Remove ALL adhesive possible using the adhesive remover.
3. Clean using Divine Collection Breast Form Wash. 
4. Allow to dry. If you're in a rush, use a hair dryer to speed up the process.
5. The prosthetic should be naturally tacky.
6. Shower. Clean the skin as well as you can, remove hair, etc. Make sure to use non-moisturizing soaps.
7. Rinse the skin clean and towel dry. Do NOT apply moisturizers, etc. Do NOT use deodorants or antiperspirants to the chest wall; the oils won’t allow adhesives to bond well.
8. Apply Stay Dry to the skin where the prosthetic will be.wall to prevent perspiration. Wait to dry. 

Using Hollister Spray Adhesive 

1. Spray a THIN layer of Hollister Adhesive Spray to the center of the prosthetic. Wait 3 to 6 minutes to dry; it should not be wet, but tacky.
2. Apply Skin Tac Wipe on the skin where the prosthetic will be. Wait 30 seconds to 1 minute until the area becomes tacky.
3. Apply your prosthetic using pressure to the body and allow to bond.
4. If required, use Divine Collection Silicone Medical Adhesive on the edges and press flat.
5. Rest for 10 to 50 minutes and when possible, apply additional pressure to the prosthetic to help bond the product better.
6. You may apply the talc powder to the front of the prosthetic for a softer feeling at this stage if you would like!

Using SilicONE Silicone Spray Adhesive

1. Shake the spray bottle well. Do not dilute.
2. Apply a thin layer of SilicONE Silicone Adhesive Spray to the prosthetic AND the skin where the prosthetic will be.
3. Wait until skin and prosthetic has become tacky rather than wet. Apply prosthetic in to place using pressure to the body and allow to bond.
4. If required, use Divine Collection Silicone Medical Adhesive on the edges and press flat.
5. Rest for 10 to 50 minutes and when possible, apply additional pressure to the breast forms to help bond the product better.
6. You may apply the talc powder to the front of the prosthetic for a softer feeling at this stage if you would like!

Using Deux Silicone Adhesive

1. Shake the bottle well. Do not dilute.
2. Using a cotton pad, wipe the skin and the skin where the prosthetic will be with a thin layer of Deux Silicone Adheisve. Be sure toapply the adhesive all the way to the edges of the prosthetic.
3. Wait until skin and prosthetic has become tacky rather than wet. Apply prosthetic in to place using pressure to the body and allow to bond.
4. If required, use a cotton swab to help apply additional adhesive to the edges and press flat.
5. Rest for 10 to 50 minutes and when possible, apply additional pressure to the breast forms to help bond the product better.
6. You may apply the talc powder to the front of the prosthetic for a softer feeling at this stage if you would like!

Less is morewhen it comes to using adhesives with Divine Collection prosthetics. When done with your prosthetic, slowly remove from your body by gently pulling at the edges and lifting up. Remove any adhesive with an adhesive remover and wash the breast usingDivine Collection Breast Form Wash. Store on the cradle in the provided storage box to keep them clean and ready for the next wearing!

Smaller sizes will have better adhesion than the larger sizes, due to the weight of the breast form. If you want to wear the forms without a bra, it is best if you wear a tighter fitting halter top, leotards, sports bra or any sort of garment that will give that extra bit of security. You may find that you have no problem at all wearing the forms everywhere without a bra as they really hold. Experiment at home to find your best solution.

Excessive use of silicone adhesive removers may damage or cause the breakdown of the silicone in the breast form. Please use caution when removing any silicone based adhesives from the breast forms. Your Athena breastplate may shift when worn while sleeping. We recommend you wear a bra if you choose to wear the breastplate while sleeping (even if you have attached them using an adhesive) to help prevent the breast forms from moving.
