Meet Laura
What’s your name? What are your pronouns?
When I started dressing, I didn't really have a name for my female version. When I started to post content on Reddit and later Instagram/Youtube I felt the need to give her a name. I always liked the name Laura and I stuck with that. I always refer to Laura as She/Her.
Where are you located?
I am from The Netherlands
What’s your favorite thing about expressing your feminine side?
My absolutely favourite thing is the clothes. 99% of the time I like to wear dresses and skirts. I can wear jeans whenever I want but feminine clothes are a forbidden fruit for men it feels like. When I am Laura it feels natural to wear girly outfits. I also love to show my feminine features a bit 😉
How would you describe your style?
Dresses and skirts all the way. I love cute summer dresses with flower prints but I also love tight (leather) skirts. Showing some curves is what I love. Sexy and alluring but not over the top.I am always experimenting with new wigs and of different styles of make up.
Where are your favorite places to shop?
I only shop online. I am not comfortable enough to go out dressed or buy female clothes when I am not Laura. I do love second hand clothing websites. It allows me to buy premium brands for a fraction of the price.
What piece of advice would you share to someone starting dressing?
Try to stay natural. If your goal is to pass as a girl, you want to do stay as natural as possible. Choose a wig that is close to your natural hair colour and dress your age.
