What’s your favorite thing about expressing your feminine side?
It gives me the freedom to express what I've had to hide for years, but also the opportunity to present different versions of myself. I've always admired femininity, and this is one way to continue to admire it from within. It might sound silly, but I really enjoy looking pretty. It's hard to describe the joy you feel when you see yourself in a beautifully tailored dress, when you discover a style that makes you feel and look good. A cozy sweater paired with comfortable, colorful tights. The feel of stockings on shaved legs tucked into heels... This is, of course, a certain version of femininity, and only one of many. An idealized, yet still a certain, part of you. It's always worth exploring what lies beyond.
How would you describe your style?
I'm still working on it, but my style is as follows: a high school teacher who's just starting to show her femininity 🙂
Naturally, I love little black dresses, although I'm most drawn to wearing summer dresses. I also really enjoy office styles. Anywhere where I can pair pretty blouses or shirts with simple skirts. I have a few friends whose styles I'll definitely be using in the future. That's very important – girlfriends who dress better than you ;)
Where are your favorite places to shop?
A lot of my wardrobe comes secondhand, so I love using Vinted—probably the largest secondhand clothing site. My other popular, but somewhat more unreliable, source is Shien. In both places, I can always find something in my size, which is difficult to find at mainstream brands.
What piece of advice would you share to someone starting dressing?
here are few:
Experiment with styles and outfits - Of course little black dress and sexy lingerie are great but not everyone will look great in them right away
Find out what your body type and measurements are – you will feel and look much better in clothes that are more flattering to your shape
Shave, remember to shave – you will look better, more feminine and you will learn how to care for your skin
