Meet Nancy
HI my name is Nancy. To give perspective to this everyone calls me Nancy. I live as a woman everyday, except at work. To be blunt I had a colonoscopy this morning everyone at the hospital called me Nancy. As for pronouns, she, her,ma'am.
Where are you located? (Just the state is OK!)
I live in the midlands of South Carolina, a town called Sumter.
What’s your favorite thing about expressing your feminine side?
In general only the people close to me know I was born a man. I am never mistaken for one. To tell the truth it does make it much easier. I go out everyday to the grocery store, Walmart, ect. dressed as me, a woman.
How would you describe your style?
My style I would say is dressy ,classy, very casual. I'm comfortable in what I am wearing at the time. Even in my bikini floating in the pool.
Where are your favorite places to shop?
I shop everywhere. Mainly on Poshmark for shoes, but clothing is different. JCPenney, Belk, Cato's.Ross,BJ's Wholesale Club,everywhere.
What piece of advice would you share to someone starting dressing?
To those just starting out a support person or persons are very important. Be comfortable and sure of who you want to be. That was the hardest at the beginning for me once I was comfortable that's all it took. When I felt like I was seen as a woman where ever I went I became much more confident and didnt think about it anymore.To me I am just being me now. Haven't looked back since.
